Town Square in St. Johns, Michigan
I enjoyed the music as we walked along the town's main shop area.

St. Johns is beautifully decorated with
flowers and many tables and benches placed throughout the area- to rest
as you enjoy the view or just 'people watch'

Travel Around

The past couple of weeks we have taken several days to travel around Michigan. Having just bought our first new motorcycle since the 1970 era, we decided this was an inexpensive way to see the hundreds of beautiful small towns, country-side villages and the Lake Michigan area.

We've managed to cover Holland, Grand Haven, Frankenmuth, St. Johns, Westphalia, Fowler, Pewamo, Muir, Rockford, Grand Rapids, Battle Creek, and many other wonderfully exciting landscapes of trees, flowers, rivers, streams, lakes, waterfalls, dams, and gorgeous old homes along the way.

In the very near future I'll add some of my photos to this blog. The idea is to share the magnificent beauty of God's creation along with man's God-given intelligent design, hard work, and ambitions.

What we create as God's masterpiece creation,is a resounding reflection of His gift to us.....His image....His Holy Spirit residing in us allowing us to be the best we can be, do the best we can do for His Glory.....not for the sake of 'works' but for the sake of Love and Respect.
We are here to serve God in love and take care of this wonderful earth He set us over. He has given us this great gift in addition to so many other gifts.
I am always amazed at this masterpiece landscape we call home on earth!

Isaiah 55:12

You will go out in joy
   and be led forth in peace;
the mountains and hills
will burst into song before you,
and all the trees of the field
   will clap their hands.

The Earth is the LORD'S, and the fullness thereof:
Psalm 24:1
"The earth is the Lord's, with all its wealth; the world and all the people living in it."
Let us enjoy God's creation....He gave it for us to subdue, steward, and enjoy!

My ONE LETTER ERROR!!

See how ONE Transposed LETTER can make a huge difference!!!
What we may call strange, could be such a blessing!
On this "accidental site" I watched a video called the Garden Tomb tour, it has music, Bible studies, etc.
It's a great site and I'm not sure of the REAL ADDRESS, but you can still go there by clicking on My Error link below!
For all of this to make any sense....you have to read my six a.m. blog called One Word-One Lord, and see the sequence of events.

Their correct site is;

www.Azt.com

If you click on the churches and denom. link it's filled with amazing information! I really love this site I just discovered!

One Word-One Lord

About six A.M. today, I was awakened by my usual thoughts; LORD, You are wonderful, good morning to the King of King and Lord of Lords.
The WORD of the LORD came to me in this way:

Sue, have you given thought to how closely the WORD is to the LORD?
One Letter different. It's amazing how just one letter can change everything-yet make it the same.
For Example:
Genesis 22:8
Genesis 22:8 Abraham answered, "God HIMSELF,will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son." And the two of them went on together.
God HIMSELF.
Yet Again:
Exodus 15:2
The LORD is my strength and song, and HE is become my salvation: HE is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.
One more:
John1:14
The WORD became human and lived among us. We saw his glory. It was the glory that the Father shares with HIS only Son, a glory full of kindness and truth.
I John 5:7 says;
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
There is no other name under heaven, given among men-whereby we MUST be SAVED-The LORD-The WORD is become my salvation!
Acts 4:12
And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
In conclusion:
The LORD-The WORD is BECOME FLESH-Is Become my SALVATION;The LORD HIMSELF will Provide the LAMB!
One Letter:
One LORD, One WORD= JESUS Our Salvation!
IN the Chinese Bible the same Character for Jesus in the New Testament is the SAME character for LORD and FATHER and GOD in the Old Testament!

Word Play

While reading the Writer's Digest a few weeks ago, I read an article about people being confused about the words "aisle, Isle and I decided to add I'll. to the mix, and then maybe a couple of other of my fun words...at least for me they're fun!

I'LL do a little dance around the ISLE of  Capri-
But only if you say you'll walk the AISLE with me!

We can see the lovely children as THEY'RE gathering near the sea-
THEIR eyes filled with WONDER, as they WANDER near the tree!

The EFFECT they have upon us will surely AFFECT our deepest heart-
Now what I WRITE must be RIGHT and from this point, I must depart!

But if at any TIME you think of THYME, and want to say to me-
My garden's filled with fragrant MINT, that's how it's MEANT to be!

" My WORD shall not return unto me void, it will accomplish the PURPOSE for which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11) Paraphrased by Sue

P.S. Send in your own Word Play or words that I can 'play with'

Crtitque / Criticism

Critique:
Origin:
1695–1705;  < French  < Greek kritikḗ  the art of criticism, noun use of feminine of kritikós  critical, skilled in judging.

to censure or find fault with.
2.
to judge or discuss the merits and faults of: to criticize three novels in one review.

verb (used without object)
3.
to find fault; judge unfavorably or harshly.
4.
to make judgments as to merits and faults.

Constructive Versus Destructive:

As we know, construct means to build UP
Destruct means to tear down. Simple, isn't it?
The Power of Life and Death is IN the tongue!
Proverbs 18:21 says:
"The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit."
When we criticize (or critique another) will it BUILD UP or will it TEAR DOWN?
Will the fruit of YOUR WORDS be Sweet fruit to eat in the future, or will it be BITTER fruit that you eat?
The WORD of God all ties together in one glorious, powerful, magnificent tapestry of life lessons!!
"whatever a man sows, he WILL reap!" (paraphrased by Sue)
Galatians 6:7 says it this way:
"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap."
So, what does this mean to you and me?
What? We sow lemons do we expect apples? Of cpourse not! Silly.
If we sow a seed for the spring, do we expect it in two days? Not! If we plant an oak tree as a seedling, do we expect it to be thirty feet tall this fall? Of course we don't!
If we plant corn, we expect corn. If we plant okra, we know that we'll get okra.
It's the LAW of Harvest, isn't it?
We can NOT plant seeds of hatred, anger, violence, disrespect, tale-bearing, gossip, disobedience, lies, or any other hurtful, spiteful, vengeful seeds and expect it to turn out good, can we?
When you see someone falter, hurting, lonely, sinning, or whatever the case may be-don't sow those seeds of discord that produce a harvest of misery!
Lift them up, show them the true love of Jesus Christ. Don't criticize in a destructive manner: voice tone or words.
More is accomplished with building up! IF there be any good-think on it! Speak blessings-NOT curses!
Deuteronomy 11:26
Today I put before you a blessing and a curse:
Choose Blessings! Choose LIFE!
